Question Dear Mr. Willet's,
I would like to know how to give codes to my warehouse racking. The WH is palletized and we store FMCG goods like Cooking oil, Tuna fish, rice, Saffron, Tea,etc.I realy need to find a logical mechanism for giving codes to each slot. would you pls. help me with this issue? Thank you before.

The typical way to code warehouse racking is to give a letter or number designation to each row, vertical slot and level. Using numerics a code like 01-25-3 would represent row 1, slot 25 and level 3. Another could be B-25-C representing row B, slot 25 and level C. I usually number one side of the row's slots in even numbers and the opposite side in odds.
