Question I would you like to know if you know some solutions for the this problem : The WMS does a mistake when it calculate the location capacity. I think because in my firm someone gives a strong cube to the products(cd,dvd...), because some managers decide to calculate cube's products basing on ship packages and not basing on the product!!!!!!
What do you think?
thanks
and sorry for my english

First you need to make sure the location's cubic storage capacity is properly set up in the WMS. It needs to reflect the amount of storage cube minus the cube of the pallet, if one is used, and also minus space at the top to allow for the product to be placed into the rack or shelf.
Second, you need to calculate the size of the product unit including the container it is packaged in. You need to know how many boxes of product will fit into the space for storage.
You are on the right track because either the storage space or the product cube is not being calculated correctly.
