Question
Hi, I have to move a substantail amount of materials to our recycling area. I need to know what has more weight per volume, Kitty Litter, or Salt? I appreciate your help and thanks!

Answer
Hi Blanchjoe,

Well, this is a question I have never been asked before. I have to admit it did make me chuckle.

I'm not sure I have enough information to properly answer this question for you. When you speak of kitty litter are you referring to the clay product that is used to clean up a spill or are you referring to the kitty litter used in the litter box?

If it is the material used in spill cleanups, then that has more weight than salt. If it is kitty litter used in the litter box I am not sure since I have never had the need to comparatively weigh them against one another.

Sorry I can't do a better job for you.
