Question A comedian was imitating John Wayne speaking about a pink squirrel. Is there a movie or some reference regarding a "pink squirrel"? It was the funniest thing I had heard in a while!!
Answer I don't recall any such reference, and an Internet search for
"john Wayne" squirrel
found nothing. It's POSSIBLE that Wayne parodied his macho image on TV one time with a squirrel (he did parodies LIKE that on _Laugh-In_ more than once) but I'm not aware of any like the one you describe.
