Question
I read somewhere once that John Wayne loved staying in either Silverton,CO
or Durango,CO. I can't remember the name of the place/hotel that he stayed
at. Does anyone know where he stayed at in either of these towns? My
parent's anniversary is coming up and they would like to visit these 2 towns
but I thought it would be an extra treat if they could lodge where John Wayne
has. Please help?!

I have no way of knowing if the "John Wayne Room" is where the Duke stayed, or if it's filled with Wayne kitsch.
The Durango - Silverton Railroad has been filmed in many westerns, including those with John Wayne.
