'Starred' is perhaps the wrong word, for, in the early days, they were both getting small and uncredited bit parts. So I've listed the films they 'appeared' in together, regardless of who had the larger role.......

Three Girls Lost (1931)
Maker of Men (1931)

The Long Voyage Home (1940)
A Man Betrayed (1941)

They Were Expendable (1945)
