Did the duke star in a movie about or in Hawaii?

Hello Joni,

"Donovan's Reef" (1963) was set in Hawaii. It was filmed on the Hawaiian island of Kaua`i.

The following John Wayne films were also partly set/filmed in Hawaii:

"In Harm's Way" (1965)
"Operation Pacific" (1951)
