Web Design/software

There so many options out there for web design software.  I have my own little web site ( home office sales) and I'd like to upgrade it as it is about 15 years old.

Do you have any suggestions/recommendations for a good software, easy yet good and inexpensive, for me to do the work myself?

Thank you,   Gabriel

Hi Gabriel,

I agree. There is quite a number of options out there for developing a website. Here's what i recommend:

1. https://wordpress.com/ - easy to use, customize and its free. you can upgrade if you want but for most users, free is already a good place to be. lots of easy to use templates/designs, very friendly toward content authors and non techies

2. http://godaddy.com/hosting/website-builder.aspx - Godaddy is one of the leading domain name registrars and they also have templates and website builders for non techies. If you can spare a few hours, Im pretty sure you can figure out their template system by yourself. Plus they have tutorials to help you use their system as well

if you want desktop software, you can try:

http://www.coffeecup.com/ - one of the oldest names in desktop website dev tools
https://www.google.com/webdesigner/ - Google's own web design tool
or something like https://www.rocketspark.com

Hope that helps!
