Subject: Web Host -Servers

Question
Do traditional web hosts have a service similar to virtual dedicated servers but
with the Windows XP operating system instead of IIS or Apache?

Answer
Hi Cas,

Most servers running a windows platform (I assume you are looking for windows based on your question) are running a server edition of windows (for example Microsoft Windows Server 2003). Apache and IIS are just HTTP servers that work with the server to show your files on the web.
