I have checked the potential website "name" with betterwhois.com and its available. How do you register the name? With whom? What cost is reasonable? Any recommendations? Sorry for the delay in my response. To start a good place to register the domain name would be http://www.godaddy.com, they usually have some of the lowest prices around. Anything around $10 is what domains are going for one year of registration. The best way to ensure there is no loss of time and/or money is to do your research (which your probably well aware of in your profession) on the web hosting company(s) you entrust to host your website. Look for things such as customer reviews, these are the best way to find out if the company has a good or bad reputation.
