About K. Lawrence
Expertise
I have expertise in making webtv email signatures as well as website design. I am patient and specific with "newbies" to the webber experience! I am on a Sony Plus and am able to answer questions regarding the video capture and audio capture features of the plus.

Experience
I have three websites. One is a very large collection of camel clipart and the other two are just fun sites where I have used some creativity to have a good time. I have gotten very good with html and table commands.

Question
When I try to print an e-mail sent to me, the background is black and the mail is in different colors.  I have changed ink cartridges and everyting else I can think of to no avail.  I have webtv plus, and a 640 series HP pinter

Answer
Well, that's a good one. Has this happened on all emails you try to print? Have you tried to print more than one from different people? Etc?

Are the emails from other webtv users, puter users or both?

From what it sounds like your printer is reading the signature from the sender and if they have thier background set as black and text color set as white or something else your printer is going to print that.

There is a place where you can direct your printer to only print in black and white. Off the top of my head I am not sure where to do it. If you dont find it let me know and I will try to look it up.

Another thing I would try is sending an email to yourself. Remove signature if you use one, so the email is plain. Try and print that and see what happens.

I dont see how it's a problem with the printer or ink cartridges...it has to be a printer setting.

How do regular pages print? I.E. other than emails?
