WebTV Problems/Problems uploading my we pages

Question
I have just created my own website and I am having problems with uploading my 2 web pages.

I have uploaded my web pages entitled:

Doyoucopy1.html and Doyoucopy2.html and have been unable to access them.

My service provider is AOL and when I spoke to one of the technical experts he simply referred me to their Hometown site and told me to follow the instructions from there.

My problem is that Hometown as far as I can understand is not really what I need. All there is are templates for creating a minimalist website which does not meet my needs.

Perhaps you can suggest where I have gone wrong. The procedure I followed is this:

1. When creating my web page I opened a folder that I entitled web web to put my notepad files and graphics.

2. After completing my pages I went to my 'Available web space and located the files on my hard drive. I clicked open and then send. The message I was given you files have been uploaded.

3.When I typed in www.//Doyoucopy1.aol.com - I received an error message.

I tried again I typed http://www.Doyoucopy.aol.com

I then typed http://www.Doyoucopy1.aol.co.uk

I have also tried http://www.Doyoucopy.html

I wonder if you can tell me where I'm going wrong?

Thank you and best wishes.

Answer
im sorry,,i have no idea about computer stuff...but since aol is just your server...i would get web pages at geocities, or angelfire...the file managers are very easy to use, and you can download any graphics or images, etc..to them...
http://geocities.com...http://members.tripod.com...
they are free to use and you'll probably have more luck here...
