Question we had a bad storm a few hours ago. Lots of lightning.
Well, our telephones started acting weird, by seeming making that sound, as if they were off the hook. I tried to get online with my PC&it sound there was no dial tone. ? Finally I unhooked the phone line from the webtv terminal&it was fine!
I later tried to hook the webtv back up&it gave an error message that the phone was diconnected&when I picked up all the phones, it gave an "off the hook"signal.
What could be the problem?

Answer i never unplug the phone line...just unplug the webtv unit...i dont know why the phone lines does that..it did that with mine last week..and we didn't have any storms...you might unplug the unit for about 30 minutes....then plug it back in..and see if it corrects itself...if not then call 1-800-GOWEBTV...maybe they can reset it for you..
