About K. Lawrence
Expertise
I have expertise in making webtv email signatures as well as website design. I am patient and specific with "newbies" to the webber experience! I am on a Sony Plus and am able to answer questions regarding the video capture and audio capture features of the plus.

Experience
I have three websites. One is a very large collection of camel clipart and the other two are just fun sites where I have used some creativity to have a good time. I have gotten very good with html and table commands.

Subject: highspeed internet access

Question
I am a rural resident and longtime WebTV owner with no desire for additional features except highspeed access, available only through Direcway. What equipment most closely replicates WebTV that is compatible with satellite access? Are their customers satisfied?

Many thanks!

Richard Gross

Answer
Hi Richard,
I am not aware of any high speed access for webtv.

Are you telling me in your question that Direcway has high speed access for webtv? Or are you telling me that your area has high speed access thru Direcway?

If the first then I am not sure what you would need for hookup. You might try calling webtv direct at 800.gowebtv...I still use my unit for surfing the web and email but have a computer for working with and online secure sites like ebay, or banking. My area has high speed cable but webtv cant be hooked up to it.

If you're telling me that your area has high speed satellite thru Direcway then you would need a computer and then would contact the Direcway company and ask them what you would need to hook up. My assumption would be that you would need a high speed modem. My high speed cable connection required me to get a cable modem. I checked with my cable company for models and bought a new one on Ebay.

Good luck with what you decide to do...
