Question Our wedding is in Aspen, CO and we live in Atlanta, GA. We are having a pretty
small wedding and would love to invite several work colleagues to our
engagement party...but they won't be invited to the wedding...is this a horrible
breach of etiquette?
Answer Wendy:
You should not invite anyone to pre-wedding parties (including an engagement party) that will not be invited to the wedding.
I'm sure that this is not the answer you are looking for, but perhaps you can have a small reception upon your return to Atlanta to celebrate with those that could not attend the wedding.
