Weddings/Champagne Dress

Question
My bride to be is wearing a champagne wedding dress and I'm having a hard
time deciding what tux to wear to match. I know black could work, but I
would love a grey tux. Even brown would be something different. But most
importantly I want it to look great with her dress. What color would you
recommend. The wedding's feel is vintage and the colors are faded pinks and
greens, set in a garden in June. Thanks!

Answer
Hi Chris,

My first suggestion would be black with champagne tie and vest.  If you wear brown, that's introducing another color into the already established theme.

The grey would look gook, if she were going with silver, but it's a cool color where champagne is more warm.  Brown might possibly work, but I'd recommend you take a swatch of her dress into the tux shop and just hold it up to different colored tuxes to see what looks the best.  This way, there's no guessing involved.  She just needs to ask the bridal salon for a swatch and they should be happy to supply it.

Hope this helps.  Please let me know if I can be of any further assistance.
