Experience I''ve been a wedding coordinator for 16 years. I authored a WEDDING PLANNING GUIDE, a Bride''s Workbook, that is available in local bridal shops. Tattered Cover Bookstores in Denver, CO as well as local Borders Books and through my website. I''ve worked with weddings from just 2 people to 350 guests and all budget ranges. Our friend is getting married and we would like to arrange for a surprise for her in some sort of an event within the wedding program. what kind of ideas can you suggest?

QUESTION: We stay in Dubai - UAE and the wedding reception will take place in March. What we need as the bride's best friends and bridesmaids, is to prepare a suprise for her during the wedding as a gift and we have abosultely nothing in our minds.

Answer Do you all sing? If so, you could do a special song for the bride and groom, possibily including writing words to the music that would fit them.
Another idea is to do sort of a "this is your life". Perhaps by contacting the bride and groom's parents and putting together a video (no more than 10 min) to be shown at the reception. This could also include special times you had with the bride.
I'm still thinking and will get back to you with some other ideas. Am I on the right track?
