My name is Harriet and I work with a Wedding Agentcy in St Maarten in the Caribbean, I know the payment varries depending on country..but I love doing coordination.
I only work on the day of the wedding and its a lot of work..entailing - Mking sure vendors are on time and evrything is in place.. to greeting the guest at the ceremony, directing them after and greeting them at the reception, seating them, standing in one position sometimes the entrance.. etc... I find it's a lot of work and long hours for only $60.00 ..what would you say is the official payent for a wedding coordinator?
Thanking you in advance, for your promp reply..
Best Regards,
Harriet
Answer Harriet:
Depending on the experience of the coordinator, the average hourly rate is between $30 - $60.
If you do only a quarter of the work that we do here in the States then you are way overdue for an increase in fee.
