Hi,
I'm planning to wear a navy blue suit and white shirt for my wedding. However I'm torn between a choice of a silk leaf-patterened gold waistcoast and a waistcoat that has an ivory background with pale gold swirls pattern. Which would you say works better? You're welcome to comment on both the suit and waistcoat colours.

Because you are wearing a white shirt, I recommend the gold waistcoat. Wearing a waistcoat with an ivory background with a white shirt could make the ivory just look like a "dirty" white (unless it is a dark ivory). The gold will make more of a contrast and therefore shine as its own color.
