Question
I am planning on having my cousin in my wedding. He will be about 18m to a year. I know that is really young but I was in his parents wedding and really want to include him. I am not planning on having a flower girl. Do you have any ideas how to make this work. I have heard of having a wagon to pull him in or to have mom escort him down the isle. What other kind of options are there?

Answer
There are a few options here. One is to have one member of the wedding party carry him. Another option is to have the mother sit with him at the very front. The bride takes one hand, the groom takes the other, and the two them bring him from his seat to the minister/priest who then takes them from a chain around his neck. If the boy is familiar with you, you may be able to have him walk down the aisle half-way and into your arms or the arms of your fiancé. A final option is to have the Best Man & Maid/Matron of Honor walk him down, one in each hand, and hold the rings either around his neck or in a pocket.
