Question My wedding is January 24 and my fiance are using a light buttercup yellow and royal blue/indigo along with white as our colors. What kinds of flowers would it be best for me to use?
Answer Hi Kelsie,
Royal blue indigo is rather dark. I would stay away from any flower that dark as it will look like a hole in your bouquet ... if you could find a flower that color. There are some dyed fresh flower versions.
The major thing to do would be to coordinate with the colors. Please do not try to match any colors. That gives a bouquet a forced fake look.
Also some flowers are more informal and some are considered on the high end and more formal. Plus the time of the year would probably dictate South American flowers. The flowers that come to my mind would be Callas. They come in yellow and white. If you MUST have indigo in your bouquet stick with a ribbon wrap in indigo.
