Weddings/Wedding reception/party separate from actual ceremony

Question
We are getting married in a small ceremony for just family. However, we are planning to have 2 different receptions/parties in the weeks following the wedding. Do you have any suggestions for where to find invitations for this sort of party?

Answer
Hi Katherine,

You can actually access a couple of invitation companies through my website - www.weddingsbytanya.com

Any stationary store that handles wedding invites, will have them as well.

They will say something like:

Mr. and Mrs. Thomas A. Smith
request the honour of your presence
at a dinner reception in honor of

Mr. and Mrs. David R. Brown

Saturday, July twenty third, two-thousand eight
at six o'clock in the evening

Cherry Hills Country Club
123 Main Street
Anytown, USA

Since the receptions are taking place at a later date, they are not considered "wedding receptions."

Hope this helps.  Please let me know if i can be of any further assistance.
