Question
Hi,
I am getting married 11/20/08 in New Orleans and have hired a Jazz Trio for the ceremony and cocktail hour. Do you have any suggestions for non-traditional/upbeat music that I could have them play for the ceremny/processional and recessional. I do not want to walk down the isle to the traditional "Bridal March". Our wedding will be held in an outdoor courtyard of a restaurant.

Dear Cara,
There is an incredible amount of Jazz music styles in New Orleans. I could not even begin to list all the repertoire possible. My best advise is to contact the jaszz trio- ask them for their repertoire list and also ask them if they have any of the selections on that list on a CD. Also if they give you a list -use the internet to listen to the songs. You will do much better using songs that the trio is already familiar with.
