I've also written and teach The Art of Wedding Coordination to those who want to become wedding coordinators.
Question When the groom-to-be dies less than 2 weeks prior to the wedding, is it still required that the bereaved bride-to-be must return wedding and shower gifts that she has already received?

According to my resources, the gifts should be returned if they haven't been used. This is something that a close friend or family member might offer to assist with to save the bride more heart-ache.
