Question My bridesmaids will be wearing an coral/orange (Alfred Angelo/ Spice) color for our wedding October 10th. We were going to have our groomsmen wear black vest and tie- but I wonder if having them wear a colored tie would be more complimentary to the bridesmaids. Our wedding is traditional in style and the ceremony is indoors. Can you tell me what would look best for the groomsmen to compliment the bridesmaids dresses?

My suggestion would be to try and find either a bow-tie OR vest that would match in color to what the girls are wearing...
If you cannot find either, then by all means stick with black/black...
Also, you might think about having a different colored vest and/or tie for the Groom to distinguish him from the rest of the wedding party... Silver tones work well... Another option would be for him to have a different type of tie (standard instead of Bow for example)...
My preference is for Silver vest with black tux and black tie... says "I am formal, but I am not one of the groomsmen..."
