Question
My husband and I are renewing our vows on our 1yr annivesary because we went to the court house. Our vow renewal ceremony is much like a first wedding I am wearing a wedding dress and have bridesmaids. I am wondering how I can word my invitation as a renewal of vows ceremony but use my maiden name without it sounding odd? Please help.

Answer
Hubby and Paula, together with their families, invite you to their wedding vows celebration on the 1st June 2011 at the Town Gardens at 1.00pm

If you want to use your maiden name then

Mr Husband and Paula nee Maiden Name, together with their families ....as above would work fine.
