Question
My fiance would like three different categories for his side of the bridal party: the best man, assistant best man, and the groomsmen. I do not like the way assistant best man sounds. Is there another wording for this?

Answer
Dear Soyini,
How about putting them both as "Best Men".  When I have this with the women I recommend using "Honor Attendants".  I don't think it would be a good idea to designate one as "assistant best man" because it sounds like he's attending the "best man" and not the groom.

In a case like this, you could have both the "best men" carry the rings instead of having your MOH carry the grooms.  This way they each have something to do as well as both can sign your marriage license if you'd like.

Hope this helps.  Please let me know if I can be of any further assistance.
