Weddings - Wedding Reply and Reception Cards

Expert: HAUTE EVENTS formerly C & G Planning (Christine Bailey, Owner) - 9/9/2007

Question
My fiance and I have a big family. We don't want to invite everyone to the reception, but we need to list dinner arrangements for those invited. We didn't list the reception info. on our regular invitation. How do we word all this on the two reply cards that will both need to state the time and place for the reception, and many, for the time of dinner with a space for replies?

Answer
The easiest way to take care of this is to have a separate invitation and reply card for each.  One will have the information for both the ceremony and reception on the invitation and the other will have only the ceremony information.  The reply card is typically just for the reception so you know how many ppl to get food for.
