Question
Hey, my names luke and i am 16 years old. I have been lifting for about a year now. I am also beginning to workout for football which starts in August. My question is about Creatine Monohydrate. Many players on my team take thsi before they work out and claim to get impressive gains from it. But on the otherhand I've found that it may cause kidney problems. I would like to know what you think about Creatin Monohydrate.

Thanks for your time,

Luke

Answer
Hi Luke,

Creatine is actually probably safer than Aspirin or Tylenol. You get creatine every time you eat red meat. Good quality Creatine taken correctly is effective and safe and other than a Multivitamin it is the only supplement that I can really recommend. Get a good quality American or German, stay away from the Chinese garbage, The major problem comes from the impurities and the Chinese seem to have much more impurities as well as much lower quality than the Germans or Americans. It my be cheaper but you get what you pay for.

Hope this helps

Have a great day,

Jerry
