Question QUESTION: hey i was wondering if it was safe for a 15 yo to do weights! i want to strengthen my body without losing my speed and agility?? how can i do this???
ANSWER: Ger,
Thanks for the question.
In general at 15 years old is quite acceptable to "do weights". I would suggest you seek out someone who is experienced in lifting technique to teach you good technique, appropriate loading, etc.
What are your specific goals?
Do you play a sport?

QUESTION: hey dean!! yes i play rugby! therefore i want to be strong but also very quick?
Answer Ger,
Rugby - excellent. Truly a sport in which all the physical qualities - flexibility, strength, speed and endurance are required.
There is no reason a well designed program cannot enhance your current condition.
While difficult to design a program without many more details, in general I would start with the basics.
Deadlift
Squat
Power Cleans
Rows
Chins
Bench Press
Get someone to teach you these lifts. It is not important that you lift "heavy", but that you learn how to lift safely and for maximum effectiveness.
Where do you plan to train?
