Answer
There is powerlifting. This is where you train to pick up very heavy weights with 3 specific exercises; bench-press, squat, deadlift.

There is bodybuilding. This is where you train to make your body have high definition. You achieve this by lifting light weights several times a day.

There is olympic lifting. This is where you train to pick up very heavy weights ALSO with 3 specific exercises; such as "snatch-and-clean."

What I do and teach others to do is "strength training." That is using simple exercises to make your body stronger and tighter. Here is a good exercise program for any person at any age or shape;

Buy a couple of 5 gallon pails. Restaurants throw them out all the time. Ask the restaurants for a couple of pails. Be sure to get lids, too.

Put some water in the pails. Just a small amount. Mark the outside with a permanent marker the water level on both pails. Make both pails hold the same amount of water.

Squat down and pick up the pails. Hold them in the air for 1 minute. Use a wall clock on the floor with a sweep second hand to keep track of one minute. Keep your elbows bent, your knees bent, and bend over while holding the pails.

Wait 2-3 days, lift the pails again for 1 minute.
Wait 2-3 days, lift the pails again for 1 minute.

Now remove the lids, add a bit more water, repeat everything above.

As the pails get heavier, your body will get tighter and stronger.

Do light stretching and light aerobics every day.

Vitamins; Vitamin D and C. Multi vitamins are a waste of money. Your body gets most of what it needs from food.

Diet: do not eat anything from a cow. Do not eat anything from a box, do not eat processed foods, especially meats!

Eat whole, natural almonds. Eat fruits, eat vegetables. Eat whole peanuts. Eat a small can of white chicken breast, in water. Eat a portion of food, such as a bananna, or an apple, every 2-3 hours. Do not eat 3 meals a day. When you eat 3 meals a day, the hours between your body is starving.

Finally, listen to your body. When you are exhausted; rest! Then resume exercising. Your body grows stronger when it is resting, not during the exercise.
