Question
Hola! I recently started doing pull ups and chin ups and am coming across a problem. A pain is coming from inside my right elbow, tendon or logament, it isn't muscle. It is starting in the inside join and working towards the upper arm. What can I do to help, fix, etc, etc

Answer
Hi tace,

Sounds like you may have pulled or torn a ligament. You should follow the standard protocol witch is RICE. Rest the part, Ice the area, Compression is needed and can be something like and elastic bandage (Ace Wrap) and elevation. Try to keep the are that hurts above the heart.

In the meantime you should see a physician and have an x-ray done to make sure there is no bone damage. A  physician may require an MRI, but only if nothing else is evident and the pain doesn't go away with the RICE treatment.

If it is torn rather than pulled you may end up having to have some surgery on it, It really depends on the severity of the injury.

Hope this helps

Have a great day
