Weightlifting & Exercise - jogging

Expert: Karen Sullivan - 11/8/2009

Question
i recently heard about water therapy and its good effect and that it should be done 1st thing in the morning. but tell me how can i jog after drinking 1.5 litres of water. will it be okay, drinking water after jogging or will this dilute the effects of water therapy.

Answer
Sibu Chacko,
I am not familiar with a water therapy specifically.  I know the benefits of drinking water first thing in the morning.  I would imagine it would be very uncomfortable to run with a potentially full bladder.  I would run first then do the 1.5 liters.  I think any time you get water in your system it will be a good thing.  I don't know what the claims are about doing it before you do ANYTHING.
Give it a try.  It cannot hurt.
Be Well,
Karen
