Question
Hi, I am currently using 5kg dumbbells for my upper body workout; I do 2-3 exercises per muscle group with 4 sets of 6. I do the workout on alternate days, however, I would like to know if it is better to work different muscle groups everyday or do a full upper body twice a week? Thank you

Answer
Hello Fatima thank you for your question.  Ultimately it comes down to what you prefer, and the amount of time you have to spend on your workouts.  For a generally rule of thumb you want to do strength training for each movement push/pull etc. three times a week.

You need to structure it around your schedule and needs.

Just make sure you schedule your areas that need the most work early in the week so you have more time to spend on those areas.

Hope it helps,

Stay Motivated,

Karen
