Question yea hi iv been working out on my legs and its been about a month and i don't notice a deference in anything.. i want my legs to get thicker because i have a bigger uptop and i wanted to even it out. what should i do?
Answer Hi Amy,
By working on the legs, what exactly do you mean, what exercises are you doing, how many reps, sets and what resistance (weight) are you using.
Women usually don't build "thickness" as well as men do since they don't have the amount of testosterone that men do, so getting thick is often a problem for women that want that look.
Your nutrition plan is also extremely important, so you will need to try to get more quality protein in your diet and more quality carbs too.
I have a good workout program at www.bmgfitness.com/workout that you can download, take the leg protein and use it to help build muscle in the legs. What you should be after at first is to build muscle, size will come as the muscle gets stronger and increases in size. Of course if you are big at the top and some of it is fat, you should probably also do some upper body workouts to drop that to help even stuff out some, so you may want to use the entire workout.
Don't be deterred by the source of the workout a muscle doesn't know if it is hooked to a man or a woman, so the exercises are unisex, not just for men.
Get back to me with what you are doing right now and have been doing for the last month, I will see if I can help you. If Possible a picture of you in shorts or something similar would be of great help so I can see what exactly you are talking about.
