Question Hello Jerry!! Im going to try to make this as quick and straight to the point ass possible. Recently I lost about 40 pounds... ( from 200-160 ) in about 12 weeks. I am 17 years old and 6 foot tall, and currently weight around 160-162. I want to know the best direction to take to get 6 pack abs. Many people say... just lose body fat and they will come... well during my 40 pound weight loss( which i lost a little too quickly ) I lost a lot of muscle. When i pinch my stomach i don't feel much fat at all... maybe some skin, but barely anything. Can you take a look at the picture I provided for you... ( link below ) should i try to lose more weight and burn fat... or should i focus on building lean muscle and building my ab muscles back up?
Looks like you lost a bunch of weight and that should help improve your health. The answer to six pack abs is in a report written by a friend and fellow trainer Georgette Pann. You can get that report free by going to www.bmgfitness.com then scrolling down the left to the button that says Abs to Die For. If you've seen some photos of Georgette you know she has great abs.
I looked at your photo and do believe the techniques described in the report will work just fine for you.
You can also go to the Library or the bookstore and pick up a book by Shawn Phillips titled Absolution which goes into even more detail and adds even more to the mix, probably should stick to the free report by Georgette right now.
Here is a good workout www.bmgfitness.com/workout.pdf or you can download it at the bmgfitness website.
