Question Hi Jerry,
I am a 49 year old male in excellent physical and mental condition. 5'9" 165 I've had varied workouts for twenty plus years. I still eat tons of good healthy food and Labrada protein drinks each day and don't get fat.
My problem is that during medium weight workouts I get drained and have to quit early or I will be an irritable basket case the rest of the day. Also, I don't sleep well for a few days after a workout and that contributes to the irritability and drained feeling 48-72 hours after a workout. I had a physical with full blood workup last year and everything seems normal.
Any thoughts?
Answer Hi Gary,
Just want thought right off, take a small vacation. That is go out of town away from the gym, go to the beach something like that. just get away from everything for a few days, at least a weekend. You may just be hitting a wall sort of speak. Sometimes we just need a break.
My break is a bike ride and I often go do a century to relax.
