Question Jerry
By severely restricting calories, lifting weights and jogging, I have gone from 225 pounds on a 5'8" frame to 175.
I look very trim and can barely pinch fat BUT my belly still sticks WAY out.In fact I I have only lost an inch on my belly and wear the same jeans which are too loose now on the legs and rear but still snug on the belly!?
It is very firm and there is even a faint six pack.
If its not fat then is it something I am eating?
I seem to get gas from protein so I cut back. I have also found if I skip supper my belly DOES go down overnight, but its tough not to eat supper!
It sucks to work this hard to transform my body only to find I get a hard muscular BIG belly!
Thanks for any advice!
Answer Hi Barrymore,
I apologize for taking so long to answer. I am working on a charity bicycle ride for a 5 year old with Neurofibromastosis. you can read some of the details at www.carolinesride.com
Take a look at the report Abs to Die for which you can download form www.bmgfitness.com/abs or just go to www.bmgfitness.com and click on the link for the report.
For even more information on ab development and healthy weight loss then you should check out my friend Mike Geary's program at http://1fitpro.mikegeary1.hop.clickbank.net/?pid=30 Mikes is a paid program but he offers some great info in his newsletters and such which you can sign up for at no charge.
I can tell you one thing real quick, severely cutting calories is a good way to make sure you fail to accomplish your goals. The body will go into a starvation mode and start "hoarding" fat and even though you lose scale weight you will gain more fat, and you will actually lose muscle.
Read through the report, get Mike's info then if you still have questions, I will be happy to answer them for you.
