Question hi im 20 year old female, 143 pounds 5'7, i recently lost about 25 pounds and i eat about 13-1700 calories a day, and exercise almost every day, i do cardio and weight training, i was wondering if it makes a huge difference if you eat your right amount o calories per day, and its moslty healthy is it okay to drink beer as long as its not everyday and your not going over your calories. i mean because its summer now and i go to the lake alot and drink like a 6 pack or sometimes more but only on weekends mostly. what im basicly asking is, as long as im not going over my calories and working out regularly will i still lose weight if i drink beer for some of my calories.
Answer Hi Rhianna,
Small amounts of beer may actually be good for you, as long as you don't overindulge and as long as you stay within your calorie allotment you will still lose weight. You may not lose as fast, but if you exercise a little more or eat a few less calories here or there you can indeed keep losing weight.
