Weightlifting & Exercise - de-load

Expert: Vveth Hammer - 6/20/2009

Question
Do you have de-load weeks? If so,is it something that you generally plan ahead or take when you feel the need? How much do you reduce the load?

Answer
I do, and I don't really plan it. I go by how I feel, and I've come to really know what I'm capable of in any given workout, I went in this morning and piled on the weight, last week it was light weight for speed...next week? I'll have to see...the goal is always the same, to be as strong and POWERFUL as possible and be able to express that.
