Weightlifting & Exercise/sweat-Shirts

Do you know if sweat-Shirts do exist? so that they can restrain sweat

Hi Pablo,

Materials that "wick" sweat away from the body do indeed exist. They are used in many sports such as cycling and running. In addition to shirts , you can buy just about any article of clothing made from this material such as socks, underwear, and pants.

One material that is used quite often  goes under the brand name CoolMax, but there are others. They do not really restrain sweat, they just wick it away from the body and dry quickly thus you don't get as "wet" with sweat and stay more comfortable. check out this link http://coolclothingusa.com/

Anyway to answer your question, yes they do make shirts that help "remove" the sweat. The material that "sweatshirts" is made out of is usually fleece which does indeed remove sweat but then gets damp with sweat, not like the coolmax which wicks the sweat away and keeps you dry. Typical"sweatshirts" will usually make you wet, uncomfortable and hotter if you sweat.

The clothing does exist, it is just not called sweat shirt/ pant etc.

Hope this helps

Have a great day
