Answer Benching entails more than just doing bench work. Anterior deltoid and tricep work is also essential. There is no single best workout. You should be doing close grip presses, tricep push downs, wide grip bench presses, anterior shoulder raises and push ups to build the muscles that are used in benching. Dips are another great exercise to add: both wide and narrow grip.
