Question
Whats the world record for:

Bench Press?

Deadlifts?

Squats?

Where do i find these records?

Also is Arnold Schwarzenegger overrated or is he truley that good in body building?

Do body builders lift heavier weights then weightlifters or do weightlifters life heavier weights?

Answer
World records: Well, that is a good question. Records in those lifts are in the sport of powerlifting. Powerlifter compete in age and weight class categories, so there are records in each age and weight class.

This site looks like the most up-to-date listing:

In addition, there are several different organizations (called "federations") that sponsor powerlifting events. These federations keep track of their own records.

It would be hard to say that Arnold Schwarzenegger was overrated as a bodybuilder, since he won the major competitions while he was competing. Between 1970 and 1980, he won Mr. Olympia 7 times, including six years in a row! He also won Mr. Universe several times. In his day, he was the winningest competitor. Period. Calling him overrated would be like calling, I dunno, Lance Armstrong overrated. He won the major events that there were to win.

As for whether powerlifters or bodybuilders lift heavier weights, that's a difficult question to answer. All generalities have their exceptions, but in general, powerlifters will lift more than bodybuilders, simply because it is their goal to lift as heavy as possible. Bodybuilders' goal is to look as good as possible. They still lift heavy, to be sure, but a competitive bodybuilder is more interested in development and appearance than a one-rep max.
