Question
hello,

my name is mike and I am working on losing some weight. I dont know where
to begin but I have a new gym with both free weights and cardio equipment
available to me. I currently weigh 230 pounds and I would like to be around
190-200...can you give me advise on how to do this? Also if it helps I am
about 6.0' tall and the reason for the need to lose weight is I am training for
police academy. any advise would be apriciated!

thanks,
mike

Answer
Mike - The cardio exercises will help you lose weight the fastest. When lifting weights, you should try to rest as little as possible between sets--this will increase the number of calories you will burn. Whatever you do, you should be working out at least 5 days per week.
