Expert: Karen Sullivan - 9/18/2006

Question
Hi,
I'm 20 yrs.old.I like to exercise and most of my body looks great EXCEPT one thing. My belly is not that bad looking but sometimes it get's kinda big and when I sit down you can see it more. It's just a little bit of belly and I want to know some exercises for getting abs and decrease my belly fat.Plus I have a belly piercing and I use to have some abs but not anymore. Please Help! thanks!

Answer
Vanesa,
If you are finding that you have deposits of fat in your belly chances are you have a little more extra fat on your body.  In that instance you can start doing a little more cardio. . . lifting weights. . . watching your diet.  All of those will help.  Then there is the abdominal work you can do.  Crunches of any sort are super!  The key is to do it.  Does this help?  Karen
