Question
hi, i am 14 years onld and have just started working out. i have got some dumbells and would like to know how to use them to get a good six pack. also should i do sit-ups aswell.

thanks, ryan

Answer
Hi Ryan. Having good abs requires two things:
1. Very low bodyfat (especially bodyfat on your belly)
2. Muscular development of the abdominal wall

So, what you need to do depends on where you are starting from.

Now, especially at your age, if you are not overweight, it is not recommended that you take on a weight loss program just to have a "six pack." Reason being of course that your bones and muscles are still growing.
