Question Hi! I'm desperately trying to find my all time favorite Western! I was very little when I saw it... I don't remember the name... Here's what I remember:
There is a bunch of friends are escaping to California or Mexico, and they are being chased by the sheriffs. Some of them get killed along the way, one of the friends betrays the others and goes on the police's side. This traitor is later gonna be shot by the main character. What I particularly remember about this traitor - is that when he was shot the first time he put some gunpowder on his wound and fired it-to heal it. So, the friend are being killed one after another and at the end there only 2 friends left. They almost reached their destination, and one of them gets killed. So the last guy from all the friends finally makes it to California or Mexico...
That's what I remember! If you'll help me to find it I'd really appreciate it. That movie means a lot to me!
Answer Howdy. I am ashamed and embarrassed to say that, not only does this not ring a bell, I can not find any matches for the story in my any of my reference books. Can you remember anything else at all about the movie? Was it B & W or color? Was it set in the Cowboy West or the Modern West? When did you see it? Was it possibly a made-for-tv movie? I am more than happy to give it another shot if you can fill in any more details at all, but if not, boy howdy, I'm stumped.
