Question
This is a stretch possibly but do you have ANY advice regarding fish deterrent for carp. I have a 40 foot boat in a fresh water marina slip and they are constantly pecking on the bottom feeding on the algae. I have heard about strobe lites and have tried cayenne pepper dusting the water to no avail. Any sugestions or directions for advice?

Answer
Hi John.

Firstly, just a question, is it bad for them to be eating the algae?  I am not a boater, so I have no idea, but to me I wouldn't want algae.

And to answer your question, I've heard of many things.

This site was full of people who seemed to know what they were doing at the very least, so try those.  I"ve neve3r encountered this problem before.

Hope this helped,
Edward.
