Kruger National Park is the biggest reserve in South Africa. If you need to know more about Kruger National Park or the animals, I can answer. There are a few other game reserves in South Africa I can assist with if you need questions about them answered.

Subject: Reticulated Python vs African Lion

Question
Do they each other in the wild? Who would win if they do?

Answer
Dear Crichlow
This is a tricky question. If the male lion is weak, he will definately be killed by the python. I have, however, seen a python busy killing (by strangulation) an antelope, where a leopard came across the scene and actually killed the python. More than one lion that would come across a python will try to kill it. The python does not stand a chance then. If the python takes a lion by surprise and only if it is weak, the python may kill it.
Regards
Naomi
