AboutBen Willis Expertise I can generally answer questions regarding animal predation, more particlarly those caused by felines wild and feral. I also have experience related to human attacks from these animals.
I cannot answer questions concerning wildlife ecology or livestock, except those which have experienced predation, nor can I offer advice for prevention. I found this site after I was quoted from one of my articles on bobcat bites. Basically, when felines are suspected, I am able to distinguish between other animals.
Experience I've studied and analyzed bite/claw marks for several decades as well
as suffering a few of my own. I've also rescued both feral and wild cats.
Question Hi Ben,
I read sometime ago about an herb or plant that repels mice and rats naturally. I would like to know the name of the plant if possible. Thanks in advance for your time and attention.

Answer I'm unaware of any herbs or plants known to repel rodents.
There is a product on the market made from bobcat and fox
extract advertised to repel rats and mice. I would be skeptical of it's effectiveness since these rodents will readily enter the enclosures of bobcats and foxes kept in captivity.
Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
